Forum Feeds are a great way to keep your forums up to date on news, and best
of all active! With this mod you will be able to have our news streamed right
into your forums
as individual
threads.
What is Forum Feed Streaming?
Quite simple. Our news is updated multiple times a day, and 2+ articles are
published on our site. With forum feed streaming, everytime we post a new article,
your site will automatically grab the RSS and post them as new threads on your
forums!
What are the requirements?
Requirements vary on what type of software you are running for your forum. Please
visit the respective installation and download links below to see if you are
able to support them.
How does this make my forum active?
With current and up to date topics automatically being posted there is NO
work for you. Your forum will be updated with 2+ new posts every day! Saving
you the hastle of going out and getting the latest news and posting.

- Step #1: Go to your forums, and create a new user named W3Reports. Put any information you want and any password. Make this a regular member, make sure you get this members ID number (user number) You will need it soon
- Step #2:(optional) Create a new forum that you would like these feeds streamed into. You can also use an existing forum but be sure to get the forum ID number as you will need it soon, this can be obtained by viewing that forum and then looking at the url.
- Step #3: Login to your Admin CP and you should see a section
on the left that says HACKS underneath that should be a menu item named RSS

screenshot) Click on it and it will bring this up
- Step #4: Click on the "Add A Bot" option and fill in the information, The User ID, the forum ID, and for source put http://www.w3reports.com/xml-rss2.php and click the "enabled" option, then save.

- Step #5: Run http://www.yoursite.com/forums/rssfeed.php This will grab the 10 latest articles and immeditely dump them into your forums.
Thats it! Your done!
