VitalStream(R), Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: VSTH) , a global provider of integrated content delivery services, announced the appointment of Mark Belzowski as chief financial officer, bringing more than 20 years of experience in senior financial management to the VitalStream management team.

In his position at VitalStream, Belzowski will provide overall direction to the finance department including forecasting and regulatory requirements. In addition, he will play an integral role in VitalStream's strategic financial objectives including any mergers and acquisitions, equity raises and exchange listings. He will assume his responsibilities as CFO as of May 17, 2004.

Belzowski replaces Kevin Herzog, VitalStream chief financial officer since 2001, who left the Company at the end of March. "Although we were sorry to see Kevin go and are sincerely grateful for his strong leadership during VitalStream's formative years, we are thrilled Mark is joining our management team," said Paul Summers, president and chief executive officer. "Mark's background in both entertainment and technology will help VitalStream continue to be successful in the future. He brings valuable industry experience to our leadership team and we are anxious to get started working with him on our strategic goals."

Prior to joining VitalStream, Belzowski was chief financial officer at leading wireless technology developer Universal Electronics Inc., where he was responsible for all areas of finance and administration. Belzowski was instrumental in the Company's successful restructuring and movement toward more profitable business lines. Prior to joining Universal Electronics, Belzowski was vice president and controller in the Turner Entertainment Group, a division of Turner Broadcasting Systems, where he was responsible for reporting and analysis, accounting, budgeting, forecasting and long range planning. He built and led a financial management team that supported the launch of two film companies with projected revenues of $400 million.

Prior to joining Turner Broadcasting Systems, Belzowski was vice president and corporate controller at Orion Pictures Corporation and held various financial positions at Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and at Paramount Pictures Corporation. Belzowski began his career at Ernst & Whinney where he was a senior auditor. Belzowski is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California. In addition, he is a member of the American Association of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
