I was eager to learn that I would be able to review Aaron Wall’s SEOBook, and I was not let down by the books content, although I would have liked to see more advanced advice.

The first 39 pages or so of the book are very basic. They cover topics such as branding, selling products, hosting, domain names, and similar things. Most experienced webmasters will want to skip this part, as it seems to be common sense. I myself was beginning to wonder if this book was even worth my time.

Then I realized why people seem to love this book. Wall brought up topics that even advanced webmasters can appreciate -- using free content, making small changes to content, distributing keywords, etc.

SEOBook also covers the major search engines – Google, Yahoo, MSN, AskJeeves/Teoma. For each one, the book provides information and insight on how they work.

There are other interesting topics too, such as advice on Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising, ad writing, and improving click through rates (CTR).

The book is an excellent resource for beginner webmasters, and even for experienced webmasters who know very little about search engine optimization (SEO).

With that said, the content in the book will prove to be overly basic for most seasoned internet marketing gurus, who probably already employ most of the tactics discussed in this book.

More information
The latest edition of Wall’s book (updates are sent out for free periodically) is a 152 page eBook, provided in PDF format.

The current price is $79.
