Just over 1 year ago Apple’s App Store hit an astonishing 25 billion app downloads, and in a few short days it will hit another incredible milestone of 50 billion downloads!  If you are the lucky 50 billionth app downloader you could be in for a treat, a $10,00o AppStore Gift Card that is!  Followed by the next 50 downloads which will receive a $500 AppStore Gift Card.  Just to put the amount of app downloads into perspective that’s approximately:

Apple is no stranger to awarding prizes as they hit new milestones.  In February German user Phillip Lüpke received a Apple Gift card worth $10,000 euros (approx $13,000 USD) for downloaded the 25 billionth song from iTunes.
